IFMIF/ DONES interviews Kyoto Fusioneering

IFMIF/DONES is a proposed international research facility designed to study and test materials intended for use in future fusion reactors. The primary focus is on investigating the effects of high-energy neutrons on materials, as these neutrons can cause degradation and changes in materials used within a fusion power plant. Our engineer, Mario Oliver, recently shared insights at a conference, highlighting the imperative for robust materials capable of withstanding the intense neutron energy within these reactors. Our collaboration with IFMIF/DONES demonstrates our commitment to developing resilient materials suited for these demanding conditions.
