Chief Fusioneer, Satoshi Konishi as well as Vice President, Kiyoshi Seko and Business Development Division Manager, Bibake Uppal were invited to participate in the gathering of the Japanese Embassy in Washington DC to officially announce the fusion energy strategy of the Japanese government. Prof. Satoshi Konishi explained the fusion strategy on behalf of the private sector.
The Japanese Vice-Minister Matsuo, U.S. Senators and many other officials gathered to promote this technology with the potential to power nations and achieve climate and economic goals.

発電インフラの輸出がゴールの一つ「ゼネコンも積極的に参画を」. 「日本の技術を『すごい』で終わらせず、世界をリードできる産業として開花させたい」。そのためにも技術継承は課題の一つと見ている。共同創業者で核融合研究の世界的権威である京大の小西哲之教授、日本のジャイロトロン研究の第一人者である坂本慶司執行役員ら、日本の核融合研究の中心人物が参画しているが、次世代への橋渡しが急務だ。「技術やノウハウを絶やしてはいけない。核融合に対して知見や興味がある人に参画してほしい。火力や原子力など大規模な発電所の建設に携わった技術者は、核融合炉の領域でも大いに活躍できるはずだ」と協力を呼び掛ける。
