KF America Secures INFUSE Award from US Department of Energy

Kyoto Fusioneering America Ltd., the Seattle-based subsidiary of Kyoto Fusioneering Ltd. (KF), has been awarded a ​prestigious award from the US Department of Energy (DOE) through its Innovation Network for Fusion Energy (INFUSE) ​program. The award, entitled “Preparation & Characterization of Li-6-enriched Lithium-Lead Samples for Neutron ​Irradiation,” marks KF’s fourth INFUSE award, building on the three received last year. In collaboration with Idaho National ​Laboratory (INL), this project lays the foundation for achieving a sustainable tritium breeding ratio in fusion power plants, ​while also establishing foundational methods for future breeder material development.
